During these difficult times, its important to stay safe, but more importantly, it’s essential to continue to bond with your family members and friends.

Here are some activities you can do with your loved ones while following the guidelines of staying safe in your own home:

  • Playing Indoor Games:

You could choose any type of game to play, like playing board games or any other type of game that would encourage you to spend more moments with your family and have a great time.

  • Puzzles are a great way to come together with your family and enjoy some relaxing times together. Not only that, but puzzles also exercise the brain to perform more efficiently, which is a plus side to the beautiful masterpiece you would create afterwards.
  • Make up a game. That’s right. Why follow other game rules when you could make up your own. If you have younger family members or even older ones, make up your own rules for a card game, or a game of hide and seek, or even an indoor bowling game. There’s so many things you could try and have a joyful time with!
  • Baking Some Delicious Treats:

Because who wouldn’t want some yummy cookies or muffins fresh from the oven to share with each family member. Bake a special family treat ,or, even better, do a baking competition with one another and see who’s baking skills are top notch. Its always fun to turn our daily activities into enjoyable games.

  • Read A Book…Or Ten:

Another great way to bond with one another is by, of course, reading with one another. Although, most of us do enjoy reading books on our own, why not share a special story with a family member, especially the younger ones. Have story time with a younger member in your family. It will not only help improve their reading ability, but also encourage you to spend some quality time together.

  • Arts and Crafts:

One of the things we all love, other than food of course, is making some amazing art and crafting. Have a painting or drawing session with your family or learn to make some cute origami together , plus you can show off your origami skills to others later on. Finding ways to be creative with your family not only encourages your brain to perform new tasks, but also a way to increase your sense of well-being in the long-run.

* Remember: Although it is important to spend more quality time with your family, it is also highly recommended that we continue to perform healthy habits that will keep us and the people around us healthy and safe.
